Surf Art~We have a stunning range of prints from the pioneer of surf photography, Tom Blake. The images reflect a golden era of surfing in the late 1920s and early 1930s in Hawaii, where the beach boys on Waikiki beach created a lifestyle we all dream of today.
Blake’s friend and mentor was the father of modern surfing Duke Kahanamoku – the great man is just one of the subjects of these beautiful images.
They are available on canvas, block prints, or traditional frames in a range of sizes and all of the wood comes managed sources.
Tom Blake was one of surfing’s greatest innovators, the first to build lightweight hollow surfboards, the first to use a fin on a board, he was years ahead of anyone else and revolutionised our sport. Now you have a rare chance to own some of the most iconic images in the long and fascinating history of surfing.~~~1~683~~
